Burke Station Destroyers Swim Team

The fee structure for the 2026 summer season is below. Please note that, per Northern Virginia Swimming League (NVSL) rule, all Destroyers and Junior Destroyers must be registered and paid members of the Burke Station Swim Club.

First Swimmer: $175
Second Swimmer: $145
Third Swimmer: $115

Swimmers do not need to reside in Burke Station Square to be eligible to join the Destroyers. Unlike many other pools in the area, the Burke Station Swim Club (BSSC) is considered an “open pool,” so *anyone* can join our pool though, again, all prospective swimmers must be members of the BSSC to join the team.

Junior Destroyers

5-week session: $125

• Weeks: June 23 – July 23
• Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
• Time: 8:45am – 9:15am
• Fee: $125

Age Requirement: Junior Destroyer swimmers must be at least 3 years old and comfortable leaving their parents to participate in the shallow end of the pool. While there is no age limit, most Junior swimmers age out of the program by 6 years old. We are happy to assess your swimmer prior to registration to determine if the Junior Destroyer program is a good fit.

Swim Meets

• The Lollipop Meet at the end of the season is designed for Juniors and 8 & Under swimmers. Races are fun and often silly but every swimmer gets a lollipop prize for each race and winners receive a coveted Ring Pop!
• We also hope to offer races for Junior Destroyers at home B Meets. Swimmers will compete in a kickboard race with a Junior Destroyer coach.
