Welcome to the homepage of the Burke Station Destroyers, a swim team nestled in the heart of Burke, VA. For 50 years, BKS has been a proud member of the Northern Virginia Swimming League (NVSL), the largest summer swim league in the country with 102 teams spread across 17 divisions.
Our 2026 summer season has sadly come to an end but we’re gearing up for our winter/offseason program at the Audrey Moore Rec Center, which will begin on Sunday, September 13. This program is open to anyone, regardless of whether you swam with our team this past summer or if you are a member of Burke Station Swim Club. We actively monitor that email and are always happy to discuss the team, our pool, and the league with whomever is interested!
The pictures above show that, while we practice and swim hard, we're all about having fun! We’re a team in which everyone knows our swimmers’ names…not just their heat and their lane. Our coaches give individual attention to ALL of our swimmers and we welcome everyone as a member of the tight-knit BKS family from their very first day on the team!
