SwimTopia App Alerts

As we all know, summertime weather can pop up unexpectedly and cause issues with outdoor plans. We are at Mother Nature's mercy and often will need to cancel practices, schedule dryland practice, wait out storms during meets, etc.

With that in mind, we will be sending alerts via the SwimTopia app so we can send immediate and timely updates to our families. We do not want to overwhelm you with alerts, so we will use this function sparingly. Meet recaps, info on upcoming events, and other general info will be sent as usual via email.

We will also be using SwimTopia to send Juniors-specific alerts, which will most likely be practice cancellations or schedule changes due to weather. Since the Juniors run on a different schedule than the “big team,” we want to target these alerts specifically to you.

In order to get team alerts on your phone, proceed via the below:

  1. Go to your phone’s app store and search for SwimTopia
  2. Install the SwimTopia app
  3. Open the SwimTopia app
  4. Use email and password to log in*
  5. Enable notifications for the SwimTopia app on your phone

* If you have not established an account with SwimTopia or if you cannot remember your password, follow the below process to get your login:

  1. Choose the “Need login help?” option in the center of the app’s login page
  2. Choose “Forgot your password?” at the top of the Login Help page
  3. Enter the email address used to register your swimmer(s) and choose “Reset my password”
    • This will send a password reset email, at which time you can log into both the website and the SwimTopia app

Alternatively, you can request a password reset on our website via the password reset page and then log into the app with your new password

Once you’ve logged into the app and enabled notifications, these alerts will pop up as soon as the team reps and/or coaches send them.

It is not mandatory that you use the SwimTopia app, but we feel that doing so will make communication with our families much more efficient. SwimTopia informed us that you will get alerts via email addresses on file should you choose not to use the app or if you are not logged into the app; HOWEVER, this functionality did not always work last season, so that's something to keep in mind. Once you log into the app, the bell icon on the top right of the screen will have a number indicating the number of new alerts you have.
