Hello, Junior Destroyers families!

Get ready! This week, our Juniors will be joining their older teammates in the water for their first practices of the 2025 season. Here's some information to help you prepare for this first week of practice.

While Juniors normally runs Tuesday through Thursday, this week’s schedule will be slightly different. Due to the “big team” Picture Day on Wednesday, this week’s Juniors practices will take place on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:45 am - 9:15 am.

Swimmers should bring towels and goggles. Although the shallow end offers plenty of shade at the start of practice, the sun pops through a little later in the morning, so we suggest applying sunscreen beforehand.

Parents are welcome on the deck around the shallow end, especially for those Juniors who might have a little bit of difficulty being too far from Mom and/or Dad!

Coaches Adrian Curameng and Eric Rojas will be leading the Junior Destroyers this year. Each swimmer will be matched with an instructor each day. Please note that your swimmer may be with several instructors over the course of the summer due to camps and travel schedules of our instructors. We strive to keep it a 1:1 ratio as well but there may be a few days where we might need to have an instructor with two swimmers.

Make sure that July 17 is marked on your calendar, which is the date of the annual Burke Station Lollipop Meet. More information to come!
