Volunteer Slots & Meet Declarations are Open
Today is the Day! Sign-ups for the season are now Open!
VOLUNTEERS
Without volunteers, we cannot have meets. All skills are welcome and needed. Some are close to the water while others can be out of the sun and in some shade up in concessions.
All volunteer positions are now open (excluding Relay Carnival and Divisionals).
- Instructions for signing up are here.
- Curious to what a position does? There is a blurb available for each position at sign-up. We also have descriptions on the website here.
- If you still have questions, please ask!
As a reminder, we have volunteer requirements. We do not want to cash your $300 check.
- For Destroyer Families, the requirement is 8 slots.
- For Transition Only Families the requirement is 4 slots.
- We have 4 home meets this year plus IM Carnival.
- Junior Destroyers have no volunteer requirements.
Sign-ups for Volunteer positions will close at 9pm on Fridays before A meets and 9:00am on Mondays before B Meets. If they remain unfilled, we will come calling for help.
MEET DECLARATIONS
All meets are now open for you to declare your swimmers’ availability.
- Instructions for signing up for A Meets can be found here.
- Make sure your swimmers are declared by 8am the Wednesday prior to the meet.
- Coaches will set the line-up on Wednesdays after practice. Swimmers will be notified Thursday morning at practice.
- Instructions for B Meets can be found here.
- All B Meets will be open. Reminder that a swimmer cannot swim in a B meet any event they placed in (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) at the preceding A Meet. Therefore, it may be best to wait until after the A meet to choose your swimmer’s events.
- Declare your swimmer by Monday at 9am. This is to allow time cards to be printed for each swimmer for B Meets.
- For transition swimmers, we will discuss with you about having your swimmer participate. No need to sign up until we talk.
- For Relay Carnival and IM Carnival, please just declare if your swimmer is available on that date. That will help with long term planning.
- More information on those meets in early July will come out at a later time.
- We will discuss Divisional declarations later in the season.
We will send out weekly reminders to sign-up for all meets. If you have questions, please let us know.
