It’s that time! Time to sign up your swimmers for meets and for families to sign up for volunteer duties.

Please declare your swimmers for TIME TRIALS by Friday, June 7^th at 7pm. (Follow the directions for A meet).

The first two B Meets and first A meet are open right now. The remainder of the season opens at 8:00am on 06/05.

Volunteer Sign-Up Instructions are also below and available online. This season, each Destroyer family needs to complete 7 volunteer assignments and each Transition family needs to complete 3 volunteer assignments.

Please note: TIME TRIALS does not count toward your total assignment requirements. We would like our Stroke & Turn officials to sign up for a slot if they are available to get practice in and for our new officials to be matched with experienced official.

How to Sign Up Swimmers for Meets

A MEETS (Saturday mornings)

For A Meets, the coaches will determine who is swimming and in what events. They will tell swimmers and families on the Thursday of each week. We need to know by Wednesday morning if your swimmer is available for consideration for that Saturday’s meet.

• Go to the https://burkestation.swimtopia.com/ and login.
• At the top, click on Calendar & Schedule.
• For EACH A MEET, click on Meet Entry.
• Under your swimmers names, click Edit.
  
  
  • Change the drop down menu from Undeclared to either:
    
    
    • Not Attending (will not be available on that Saturday)
    • Attending (available to swim if chosen by the coaches)
  • If you plan on leaving before the end of the meet, please include a note. Relays are held at the end of the meet and Coaches need to know which swimmers are available.
• Click SAVE.

A MEET declarations must be done by WEDNESDAY AT 8AM. You can do the entire season now.

B MEETS (Monday Nights)

All swimmers are eligible to swim in B Meets. These are great opportunities to improve and get experience for our newer swimmers.

• Go to the https://burkestation.swimtopia.com/ and login.
• At the top, click on Calendar & Schedule.
• For EACH B MEET, click on Meet Entry.
• Under your swimmers names, click Edit.
  
  
  • Change the drop down menu from Undeclared to either:
    
    
    • Not Attending OR Attending
  • Select events from the list shown. Each swimmer can choose 2 events and the IM.
    • Swimmers that placed 1^st, 2^nd, or 3^rd in the prior Saturday’s A meet may not swim that event at the Monday B Meet.
      • For example, if Hermoine placed 2^nd in the 50 freestyle and 4^th in the 50 breaststroke, she can choose to swim 2 of the following events: backstroke, breastroke, or butterfly. She may also choose to swim the IM.
  • Click Save to record your choices.

B MEET declarations must be done by Mondays AT 8AM.

How to Sign up to Volunteer

• Go to the https://burkestation.swimtopia.com/ and login.
• At the top, click on Calendar & Schedule.
• Click the green JOB SIGNUP tab under each meet.
• Click “Sign up for Jobs” for the respective parent.
• Scroll down the list and check the job you would like to sign up for.
  
  
  • Remember the positions of Referee, Stroke & Turn Judge, and Starter require NVSL training.
• Click Save Assignments.

Volunteers Slots are open for the entire season so please feel free to sign up now for all the meets you will be attending.
