Hi everyone! We hope you're all enjoying the final holiday weekend of the winter with an eye on spring break in a little over a month!

With the Virginia high school swim season now in the books, we wanted to take a minute to congratulate our three BKS swimmers who recently finished their own seasons.

Evie Walker and Caelan Heron both swam in their freshman years at Lake Braddock and Robinson, respectively. Caelan impressed while swimming with a very strong Robinson team, while Evie recently set a personal best in the 500y free at the and was the lead off (backstroke) leg of the Lake Braddock 200y medley relay at the VHSL Class 6 Occoquan Region meet!

Ben Tuininga had a fantastic senior year at Lake Braddock, finishing with a personal best 200y IM in Regionals and having a banner Class 6 States meet with the LB relay teams that ultimately ended with the 400y free relay breaking the Virginia state record!!!

Congratulations once again to Caelan, Evie, and Ben on a great high school season. We can't wait to see them (and the rest of the team) in the Burke Station pool again in a few short months!
