Hello Destroyers,

Wow! What a great meet we had yesterday. Us coaches were blown away by the performances of the swimmers both in the water as well as on deck. We are so proud of the progress that we have made as a team in only a few weeks and are excited to watch the growth continue throughout the season. Let's keep working hard as the season continues and show the remaining teams in our division how amazing the Destroyers are!

Moving forward, we have a busy week. In addition to our two usual meets we also have Relay Carnival this Wednesday. In preparation we will spend multiple days this week working on relay transitions. Swimmers who are not participating in Relay Carnival are still expected to come to practice as this information is vital to all swimmers. We would also like for all swimmers to bring their fins to practice this week and for the coming weeks. The additional equipment will allow us to explore new sets at practice and provide more benefits for the swimmers.

Finally, a big thank you to all the volunteers that worked both Friday night and Saturday morning to make the meet such an incredible experience. I am sure that it will be one the kids will remember for a long time. Thank you!
