Divisionals-Practice Time Change & End of Season Party Info!
So here we are...in the last week of practice. We say it all the time as we near the end of the season, but where did the last seven weeks go?!
Destroyers Practice Time Changes
Starting tomorrow, Wednesday, July 19, we will adjust the practice times for our swimmers as they prepare for Divisionals. These practices will only be for those swimmers who are confirmed as swimming or are alternates for Divisionals this weekend; all other swimmers can enjoy the rest of the summer free of practices! We have attached the list of confirmed and alternate swimmers to this email. See below for the schedule:
10&U: 8:30 am to 9:30 am
11 and up: 9:30 am to 10:30 am
We will know on late Wednesday night which of our kids who are alternates for various strokes at Divisionals have made it into those events. We will inform all parents about their swimmers' statuses as soon as possible after that meeting so that you can plan accordingly.
End of the Season Party
Once divisionals is over, it's time to celebrate all that the swimmers, coaches...and parents...have accomplished this summer! We will hold our Traditional Pot-Luck Dinner at the pool clubhouse. Please sign up to bring something here. You can drop off food starting at 6:00PM and dinner will open at 6:30PM. Please bring your own drinks. If anyone can spare some folding tables and chairs, that would be really helpful!
