Water Bottles at Practice

Hello!

It was great to see everyone at practice this afternoon! Hopefully everyone had a great first practice of the 2022 season and is ready for round 2 tomorrow!

Given the high temperatures this week, we wanted to encourage all swimmers to bring a water bottle to practice. Even though the water temperature is cool, it is still important that swimmers hydrate during practice. We will be encouraging swimmers to take breaks as needed. 

It is also important that everyone gets a good snack/early dinner before practice. We know the time between school and practice is a bit of a crunch, but all swimmers should eat a solid snack/meal before attending practice. Some easy quick snack options include: peanut butter and apples, protein bar, yogurt, dry cereal, smoothie, etc.

Last, but not least, do not forget to apply sunscreen!
