Hi All-

I know the weather doesn't feel like it, but swim season is right around the corner! We wanted to send out a few updates and reminders as we approach the start of the season!

Pool Membership
All members of BSST must be members of Burke Station Swim Club! For those of you who are BSCA Members, just a reminder to register before May 1st to avoid paying the increased rate. You can easily register and pay online here

Team Registration
We are so excited to see new and returning members register for this upcoming season. Please be sure you register before the Parent Meeting on May 15th. We will be submitting shirt/hat orders after the parent meeting to ensure that we have our items before the first meet on June 13th! You can register at our new SwimTopia site; payment can be via card at time of registration or check at the parent meeting.

Official Training
NVSL is still working to secure a location and specific times for their Official Training...but we do have a date of June 10th. These training sessions are *free* to you and extremely important to our team. We currently do not have a Referee for this season (and cannot host meets without one). We need as many parents as possible to be certified as a Stroke & Turn Judge, Starter, and Referee. We will talk about these positions a bit more at the parent meeting, but please know we will do everything we can to support you as you learn these new roles! Please reach out to us if you have any questions pertaining to offical's training.

Team Suits
COVID continues to throw a wrench in plans. Despite placing our order in March, we received email notification that there are some inventory issues with our team suits. Girl sizes 22, 24, and 26 will be shipped to SuitUp May 20th. If your swimmer falls into these size categories, you are encouraged to try on a suit at SuitUp (they have the same style available) and place your order. SuitUp will contact you once your suit is ready for pick-up. Unfortunately, boy jammers size 24 and 26 will not be restocked until August...which is well after our season. We have provided an alternative team suit with similar colors for these sizes. They will be available in the next couple of weeks (the order was placed yesterday) at SuitUp. We apologize for the inconvenience - we are bummed the boy's suits are not available but excited for a "normal" swim season!

Sponsorship
